FocusFlame ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FocusFlame mobile application (the "App"). Your privacy is critically important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about our data practices.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to provide core functionality and improve your experience:
- App Usage Data: Focus session duration, intent selections, streak information, Flame Score, identity progression, and settings preferences
- Purchase Information: Subscription status and purchase history (processed and managed entirely by Apple; we do not store payment card details)
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting
- Optional Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data to improve app stability and reliability (only if you opt in)
We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or location unless you voluntarily provide it when contacting support.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain core app functionality, including session tracking, progress monitoring, and identity progression
- Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot technical issues
- Analyze usage patterns to develop new features and improvements
- Verify and manage subscription status
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable cloud sync, securely in iCloud using Apple's encryption standards. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Regular security audits and updates
- Limited access to data by authorized personnel only
Purchases and Payments
All payments and subscriptions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to or store your payment card information. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are governed by Apple's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share limited data only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted third-party services that help us operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the new entity.
Children's Privacy
FocusFlame is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

International Data Transfers
If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality and comply with legal obligations. If you delete the App or request data deletion, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
